Role Summary:

We are seeking dynamic and tech-savvy early grade teachers to join our pioneering digital elementary school. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and capable of delivering engaging lessons to learners in kindergarten classes using a blended Nigerian and American curriculum. This role requires the ability to integrate digital tools and platforms to enhance learning and build strong foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, and social development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver daily lessons aligned with the Nigerian and American curriculum using digital platforms and interactive teaching strategies.
  • Create a supportive, child-friendly digital classroom environment that promotes active engagement, creativity, and curiosity.
  • Use a variety of online resources, educational software, and multimedia tools to make learning accessible and enjoyable for early-grade learners.
  • Foster development in key learning areas, including language, early math, science exploration, social-emotional learning, and digital literacy.
  • Track student progress through digital assessment tools and formative observations.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians through digital channels to share learner progress and offer support.
  • Participate in virtual and in-person staff development sessions, team meetings, and training programs.
  • Encourage learners’ safe use of technology during learning activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s digital learning framework by sharing feedback and innovative ideas.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of an NCE or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, primary education studies, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably with young children in a tech-enabled learning environment.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and early years pedagogy.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools such as Zoom, Google Classroom, or other EdTech platforms.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and G Suite
  • Excellent classroom management skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
